Invoicing and taking payments just got (even) easier via the FreeAgent mobile app

You may have recently noticed some slick improvements and glossy new functionality in the FreeAgent mobile app. We’ve been working behind the scenes to deliver a series of updates to make it easier for you to manage your invoicing and payments via the mobile app. We’ve done this by introducing more of the features from the desktop version of FreeAgent to mobile. Here’s a rundown of all the new mobile goodness: 

  1. Connect FreeAgent to your Stripe account to start accepting debit and credit card payments directly from your FreeAgent invoices.
  2. Set a default payment provider (Tyl, Stripe, GoCardless or PayPal) for all of your invoices.
  3. Set up a Direct Debit mandate with your customers and start taking payments with GoCardless.
  4. Choose when to collect Direct Debits via GoCardless.
  5. Use an in-app ‘take payment now’ button to collect GoCardless Direct Debit payments.  
  6. Quickly and easily preview your invoices on the mobile app.
  7. Add an online payment link to your invoice PDFs to take payments via Stripe, PayPal or Tyl by NatWest.
  8. Check on the payment statuses of all your FreeAgent invoices from within the mobile app.
