Six quick tasks clients can do on the go

Whether your clients are out and about or working from home, the FreeAgent mobile app can help save them time and give them peace of mind. From tracking cashflow to explaining bank transactions, here are six quick tasks that are perfectly suited to the FreeAgent mobile app.

1. Creating contacts and projects

If any of your clients frequently travel to visit prospective customers, they can use the FreeAgent mobile app to store contact info on the way to meetings. Once your client has been briefed on the required work, they can then create a corresponding project on the FreeAgent app. Your client can then easily keep tabs on the income, expenses and profitability associated with both the job and the contact.

2. Tracking time and mileage

Once your client has created a new project, they may wish to track the time they spend working on it. If your client is an illustrator, for example, they can use the stopwatch feature on the mobile app to record when they start and stop working on an illustration. Even if your client doesn’t use the timer, they can still manually create a timeslip on the mobile app.

If your clients incur any out-of-pocket expenses or business mileage, they can also capture these with ease on the FreeAgent mobile app. This is ideal for tradespeople, for example, who may wish to track this straight from their vehicle when taking a break between jobs.

3. Managing estimates and invoices

Your clients might want to send estimates to their customers, to give them an idea of how much a project is likely to cost. Handily, your clients can whip up professionally-designed estimates and fire them off to their customers directly from their mobile phones, right then and there.

Once their customers have approved the work, your clients can then easily convert their estimates into invoices. They can then stay on top of which invoices have been paid, which are due and which are overdue, all from the convenience of their mobile phones.

4. Explaining bank transactions

It's easy for your clients to explain their bank transactions with the mobile app. Whether they’re looking to pay an internet bill or record a travel expense, your clients can explain their transactions when they’re out walking the dog or on their lunch break, for example.

They can also view their dashboard to see a real-time view of their cashflow.

6. Checking up on admin

Your clients can now access Radar’s ‘Admin-To-Do’ list on the FreeAgent mobile app. This exciting new feature provides your clients with a personalised list of important admin tasks they need to do to get their accounts in order. This should mean that you need to spend less time reminding your clients to keep their accounts up to date.
