Make learning a picnic: summer tips for accountants and bookkeepers

1. Dive into webinars and soak up CPD points

If you’re part of a professional membership body, you’ll need to earn a certain number of CPD points (also known as units or hours) each year to keep your membership in good standing. FreeAgent hosts multiple CPD-accredited webinars annually, featuring a wide array of topics to help accountants and bookkeepers sharpen their skills. 2. Breeze through FreeAgent Accreditation 

As a FreeAgent Partner, you have access to our Learning Hub - an area dedicated to equipping you with the knowledge you need to make the most out of FreeAgent. You’ll earn two CPD points by taking our annual Accreditation module and receive a digital accreditation badge plus a printed certificate in the post. Once you’re accredited, you’ll also get a listing in our directory, viewed over 70,000 times every year by people looking for FreeAgent-accredited accountants and bookkeepers. 

Once you’ve completed the full Accreditation module, you can keep your knowledge up to date and maintain your accredited Partner status by completing the annual Accreditation top-up module. Designed for experienced FreeAgent users, this is updated yearly to include the latest product updates and new features. We also provide an advanced tax module with everything you need to know about setting up and managing your client’s VAT, Self Assessment, Final Accounts and Corporation Tax in FreeAgent (and it’s worth 1.5 CPD points!).

You’ll discover how AI is shaping the accounting industry, the latest on basis period reform and more.
