We’re always looking for ways to help your clients focus on what’s important for their small businesses and save you time in the process. Today, we’re excited to launch Radar, our new business performance tool, for practice-managed clients with permission level 7 and above in FreeAgent.

What is Radar?

Radar is a new feature that uses smart data analysis to highlight important admin tasks in FreeAgent. It also surfaces insights to help your clients become more productive and better at business. The feature is split into two main areas:

Admin To-Do List

Radar’s Admin To-Do List highlights important admin tasks in FreeAgent and helps your clients get their accounts in order. This should mean that you spend less time reminding your clients to keep their accounts up to date.

For now, this list focuses on quick banking tasks like explaining transactions and reconnecting and re-consenting Open Banking bank feeds. In time, the list will include more to-do tasks designed to save you and your clients time when managing their business finances.

Radar

Insights

Radar’s Insights section provides your clients with actionable notifications. These include who their slowest paying customers are with the option to set up automated invoice reminders and what your clients' top spending categories are to help them plan for the next six months.

Your clients with permission level 7 and above can access Radar from the bell icon displayed in the top-right corner of their FreeAgent account.

We hope that Radar helps your clients stay on top of their accounts and saves you time normally spent chasing them for information.
