Slicker GoCardless Direct Debit payments for your clients

We’re delighted to announce that we've fine-tuned how and when your clients can take Direct Debit payments with GoCardless. This update will streamline how your clients can receive payments for their invoices, saving them valuable time and providing peace of mind. 

When your client creates an invoice and selects the GoCardless payment option, they’ll now be prompted to choose when to take the Direct Debit payment. Your client can choose to take the payment on the invoice date, the payment due date or when they manually trigger the payment.

Once your client has marked the invoice as sent or chosen to send the invoice from FreeAgent, the Direct Debit process will be initiated and the payment will be taken from their customer automatically.
