Great news! FreeAgent now integrates with BTCSoftware to provide you with a less onerous way of managing your clients’ data and a quicker method for preparing and submitting their end of year accounts and Corporation Tax returns.

How BTCSoftware can help your practice

BTCSoftware is an award-winning compliance, accounts production and practice management software. Its integration with FreeAgent means that practices no longer need to manually input information in a spreadsheet and then re-key their clients’ information into FreeAgent. The integration also allows practices to import trial balances directly from FreeAgent into BTCSoftware.

All of this creates an efficient, time-saving way to produce and submit your clients’ end of year accounts and Corporation Tax returns to HMRC and Companies House and to ensure that any adjustments made in your practice management software are reflected in FreeAgent.

Getting set up

Once you have all your clients’ trial balances set up in FreeAgent, you’ll be able to import them straight into BTCSoftware. To do this, you’ll first need to create a set of year-end accounts within your BTCSoftware account. You’ll then have the option to select 'Trial Balance Import' and choose 'FreeAgent' from the drop-down menu.

Next, log in to FreeAgent with your credentials and select the client account you want to connect to BTCSoftware. Once you’ve approved the integration, the software will download the client’s figures from FreeAgent into BTCSoftware’s mapping tool.
