Great news for your clients - we’re preparing to release not one, but two time-saving new banking automations.

Auto Extract now matches with transactions

Auto Extract - our smart receipt-scanning functionality that extracts data with AI - will now match an expense receipt photo to the relevant bank transaction automatically.

Your clients will see a lightning bolt icon next to any transactions with auto-matched files on the For Approval screen in Banking, as shown in the image above.

Improved Guess functionality

FreeAgent’s AI-powered ‘Guess’ feature automatically suggests categories for imported bank transactions, saving your clients time when doing their bank reconciliation. 

Guess will now provide smart alternative category suggestions. This is handy for situations where a transaction could be explained in a couple of ways - such as computer hardware versus computer software, as shown in the example below.
