We’re excited to announce a game-changing partnership with Mettle, the new digital business account by NatWest.
As part of this new partnership, any of your clients who sign up for a Mettle account are entitled to get their FreeAgent account completely free of charge. Mettle accounts themselves are quick to open and are also completely free of charge so it’s a great combination for small businesses and freelancers. In order to qualify for this offer your clients need to make Mettle their primary business account in FreeAgent.
Mettle accounts are suitable for:
- sole traders and limited companies with up to two owners
- accounts with balances of up to £100K
- companies based in the UK
For clients already on your dashboard who wish to take advantage of this offer, ask them to first download the Mettle mobile app from the iOS or Google Play app stores and go through the Mettle account application process. Once their account is open they need to connect their FreeAgent account to their Mettle account, flagging their Mettle account as their primary business account in FreeAgent. Once your client has completed these steps, please email our support team: practicesupport@freeagent.com and they will move your client to a Mettle-funded account.
For new clients, make sure your client has successfully completed the Mettle account application process and has an active account. Next, complete the FreeAgent client account setup process in your dashboard as normal and choose ‘Mettle’ from the funding options. Your client will be added to your dashboard free of charge.
